Setup & Connection
1. How do I connect and turn on UNCLOGIC™?
Connect everything in this order:
- Connect the FIR heating unit to the controller.
- Connect the controller to a compatible 5V/2A USB power source.
- Press and hold the TEMP button for approximately five seconds.
Always connect the heating unit to the controller before connecting power.
2. Why does the display briefly show "88"?
"88" is the controller's startup display. It indicates that the controller has received power. It should then change to the operating display.
3. Why does my controller show "00" or turn off?
The controller may not have recognized the heating unit. Disconnect the power and reconnect in this order:
- Heating unit → controller
- Controller → 5V/2A power source
- Hold TEMP for approximately five seconds
Make sure every connector is fully inserted.
4. Which button turns on the warmth?
Press and hold the TEMP button for approximately five seconds. A quick press may not activate the heating unit.
Warmth & Session Settings
5. How long should I use the warming mask?
Begin with a 20-minute warming session. The controller provides 20-, 30-, 40-, 50-, and 60-minute timer choices. These are available settings—not a recommendation that every customer use the longest session. Choose a comfortable session length, remain awake, and stop if the warmth becomes uncomfortable. Ask your eye-care professional for individualized guidance.
6. Which warmth level should I begin with?
Begin at Level 1 and increase gradually only if needed for comfort. Higher heat is not automatically better. Level 5 is the highest setting, with a controller target of up to 48°C/118°F. Do not begin at Level 5. Stop immediately if any setting feels excessively hot. The warmth reaching the eyelids may vary with the cover, fit, inserts, room conditions, and individual sensitivity.
7. What does the NTC temperature sensor do?
The controller uses a smart NTC temperature sensor to monitor temperature and help regulate heat output.
8. Can I sleep while using the powered mask?
No. Remain awake throughout every powered warming session. Disconnect the mask from power after use.
Optional Moist Warmth
9. Can I lightly mist the cover?
Yes. If you prefer moist warmth, lightly mist only the outside of the removable Seaweed cover. The cover may feel slightly damp, but it must never be wet, dripping, soaked, or saturated.
- Do not spray the assembled mask.
- Do not spray the heating unit or controller.
- Keep moisture away from connectors, cables, and the power source.
- Stop using the product if moisture reaches an electrical component.
Cooling Comfort
10. Can UNCLOGIC™ be used without the heating unit for cooling?
Yes. Disconnect power and completely remove the FIR heating unit and every electrical component before cooling use.
11. How do I arrange the rose quartz and gel insert?
Place the components in this order:
- Rose quartz closest to the closed eyes
- Refrigerated gel insert behind the quartz
The rose quartz acts as the layer between the cooled gel and the eye area. Rest the mask gently over closed eyes without pressing or adding additional weight.
12. Can I freeze the gel insert?
No. Refrigerate the compatible gel insert; do not freeze it. Do not use an insert that is frozen solid, damaged, leaking, or uncomfortably cold.
After Warming
13. What should I do after removing the mask?
Make several slow, complete blinks. Close your eyelids gently without squeezing.
14. Should I massage or press my eyelids after warming?
No. Do not rub, press, squeeze, or massage your eyelids after warming. Eye Comfort Care teaches gentle, complete blinking instead.
Cleaning & Care
15. Is the Seaweed cover machine washable?
Yes—but only the completely empty removable cover may be machine washed. Before washing, remove:
- FIR heating unit
- Controller and cable
- Rose-quartz insert
- Gel insert
- Every other removable component
Machine wash the cover on a cold, gentle cycle, preferably inside a mesh laundry bag. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Reshape and air-dry completely before reassembly.
16. How do I clean the electrical components?
Wipe the heating unit and controller only with a dry or very lightly damp cloth. Never wash, soak, submerge, or machine wash the heating unit, controller, connectors, cable, or power source. Do not reconnect the mask until the cover and every component are completely dry.
Safety & Comfort
17. When should I stop using the mask?
Stop immediately for: excessive heat, burning or pain, persistent redness or skin irritation, dizziness, a new or continuing change in vision, or an unusual smell or abnormal heat from the controller or cable. Remove the mask, disconnect power, and allow it to cool. Seek prompt professional care for sudden or significant vision changes, severe pain, injury, or suspected infection.
18. What should I inspect before each use?
Check the heating unit, controller, cable, and connectors. Do not use a component that is wet, damaged or frayed, sharply folded or creased, loose at the connector, or producing unusual or concentrated heat.
19. Does UNCLOGIC™ replace prescribed eye care?
No. UNCLOGIC™ is an eye-comfort system and does not replace prescribed medication, professional diagnosis, or your eye-care professional's instructions.
Warranty & Replacement Parts
20. What does the one-year warranty provide?
One-Year Parts Replacement Warranty: For one year from the purchase date, Eye Comfort Care will replace eligible UNCLOGIC™ system parts at no charge. The customer pays replacement shipping. Proof of purchase may be required.
21. Where can I obtain another controller, cover, or compatible insert?
